Water Base Hydra Inks

Hydra Aquacor Printing Inks

Description:

Water Base Printing inks are highly pigmented, water based inks, specially formulated for printing on brown and White craft paper, etc., including special colors, as per customer requirements. In general these Water borne Printing inks are designed to dry quickly on the paper and at the same time remain open for longer duration on the printing machine. These Printing inks give very strong print results (with high mileage) and at the same time lay very evenly on the paper to give very clear and soft to eye print effect. The formulations are based on selected raw materials to give best possible opacity to the ink, as higher opacity is necessary to hide paper. Certain colours, developed with high opacity in mind may contain chrome pigments, where as other may contain certain fugitive dyes to impart very high strength and brightness to the print.

Normal Conditions means:

Storage in tightly closed containers.

No admixtures

Temperature not exceeding 250C for weeks or 300C for days

Short time excessive-temperatures e.g. at transport are not harmful. The products are not sensitive to frost. “Over-stored” inks (typical symptoms: fall in gloss, shift in shade, formation of odour and / or viscosity increase) may normally – off color being exceptions - be used the same way as residual inks by controlled admixture to fresh inks. Increased viscosity due to long-time storage of Water borne Printing inks may generally be adjusted by addition of a slightly higher amount of thinner than the usual.
